Welcome to the whimsy, to my mind storm,
this safe place where I dance through
cyclones and hoedowns.

I didn’t set out to be a poet, but poetry found me, as Leonard Cohen suggests, in the evidence of a life burning well. Through verse and catharsis, I journeyed through a labyrinth of human sentiment and into my lyrical abyss.
